I know for myself, personally. The last day I can RECEIVE AT MY PO BOX the 'old style IRC' is essentially DECEMBER 15 2006. After this time, I'll not be able to exchange at a post office before December 31, and they therefore will be useless to me.
PLEASE...I see the old style ircs with postal stamps dated a few weeks ago (even have a US one dated late September). DO NOT TAKE the old ones from your post office...either don't buy them, insist on the 2009 ones, something..but as Graham says, there will soon be a lot of unhappy punters...
