Graham sent this direct to me, but I think he meant to reply to the whole
list...

In a word, Yes ........or No........or Maybe.
<Big Smile>
While it is always nice to get a multi-colour 'pretty' card, as Ron said
I don't care if I get a confirmation on a cornflake pack. Provided it
'counts'
This year for various of 'my bods' I have had 4 sided colour [nice but
where are the details - see page 5 :-)] Single colour, double colour,
rotadex card [typed], handwritten letters [yes on A4, folded and taped -
via the Buro] and everything in between.[Including one from a Eu station
- no names no pack drill - whose callsign is in sort of 'art deco' print
in a multitude of colours. I ended up searching the log by Date & Time
as I couldn't read it - Hi !]
Over the last 26 years, I have had many styles of personal cards, and I
have never noticed any variance in return rates. I now use a photo [see
my website] of Nelson - not very good as far as pics go, but I have had
some nice comments about it.
My 'bods' cards range from colour montage to one sided print [black on
white] and as long as they 'count' I doubt if anyone minds.
It's a personal choice thing
