[Dx-qsl] Montenegro becomes 192d member state of United Nations

Bravo from me to Montenegro for their independence
and a new country added to the list. To the list???
Shame, shame on the proposed dxpedition to Montenegro
for how ever long it takes to make 200 thousand QSOs.
Never mind that there are three possible locations, the juciest
of which is a super station and if you are good enough you
might be able to get a slot on the operator's list for working
from that super station. OTOH, if you are not quite good enough
or maybe you are less than good enough there are two other
locations where you can bring your own gear and maybe some
wire to put up around all those towers over there and get
yourself into the fray.
Bully to the Ops who have signed up for that ridiculous dxpedition.
What about all those local hams in Montenegro who could be rare
DX and get on the bands and have some fun working the world?
Take the proposed dxpedition that supposedly guarantees 200K
QSO and what is left for the poor local operator. All of a sudden
Montenegro is not a rare entity. Hohum, back to the world news
at 11pm.
So if I were a local in Montenegro I would object strongly to any
dxpedition to my country. I would petition my ministry to reject
any application for a station license and forgo the potential of putting
Montenegro on the map with those rubber stamped QSOs with a
handful of thanks for nothing.
