 A real effort? I say and most others will too EVERY DXPedition puts the
best efforts they can considering propagation conditions and operating
conditions..heat malaria, war lords and the like. Your problem is you
complain and cry too much Danny sorry to say. Maybe collecting butterflies
might be easier for you to handle?

Good news - and bad news.
My card came today with cw contacts for 20/30/12/17 meters confirmed. That
makes mixed #332, CW # 313.
What is bad news is that three contacts on RTTY are not confirmed- nor
mentioned as to why they didnt confirm them, or 3 SSB contacts or three
other CW contacts. Now, I can almost understand one or two "maybes" due to
qrm and weak signals etc. but 9 unconfirmed contacts are a bit much.
None of these were in the online logs, thus the reason for several
"insurance contacts". Looks like I didnt pay the insurance costs either.
How I can get a RTTY contact logged here, after seeing my call and a report
on my screen, and not be in tgheir logs, is beyond me. The SSB
non-contacts are disapointing - so I come away from a major expedition,
major effort and time on my part to listen for numerous hours, calling and
calling , trying to figure out where they were listening etc. and to fail
to get either SSB or RTTY confirmed. Its probable I will be in my 80s the
next time anyoe goes there, and wont give a hoot. HI.
So - didnt get Phone #303 or RTTY #221
But- thanks guys for a major effort now when is someone going to put in a
real effort for VU4/7 ?
One that I can at least hear?
