Mine came back recently, from the address he has listed with the FCC. When
out of the country you must still have a stateside address where you can be
contacted. Im not happy to see that mail is returned from that address. He
has indeed published info that he uses another address (direct to Tahiti)
but of course the FCC data base doesnt contain that. There are a number of
calls out in the US Pacific Islands that are issued to people who do not
exist there. I write to the FCC every time that happens, and inform them
that their data base is incorrect.
I spent 19 years overseas, without a home here in the states, but registered
my call/license using my in-laws address (they forwarded mail on to me -
and this was before I obtain the good services of W3HNK to be my manager),
and believe we should expect the same adhesian to the rules by others.
