Hi gang,
Additional comment here.
Good idea to check with the area buro every so often to make SURE you
have sufficient envelopes/postage/funds for your call. If you know
of someone else who uses the buro, mention to him/her also about
keeping up to date.
Some calls I sent postcards/e-mails and used my and "coffee" funds to
get some to send in something so could get their cards to them. After
awhile the "dead letter" file gets too big and have to "deep 6" them.
I hated to discard good cards... For example: 7O8AA and the like
discarded.
Send in a little extra to help those who volunteer keep the system running.
Your extra funds are used to help defray costs for the system that you
don't see or hear about. Believe me the small extra funds, if there,
don't go to anything other that the local buro system. NO new cars,
boats, parties or the like.......
Still drive my 91 pickup truck, which fits in nice here in NC. HI..... ;>))
