[Dx-qsl] Old days ZS8MI (1989)

Hello DXers,
My friend in JA asked me to find out if he could confirm his
QSO with ZS8MI on Oct. 29, 1989 on 21MHz SSB.
The QRZ.COM page for ZS8MI shows the QSL managers as
follows.
Via ZS6EZ to 2000
Via ZS6M (ex ZS6YQ) for 2004
Does this mean he should send his request to ZS6EZ, or
anybody else for the QSO which was made on 1989?
Please advise.
