JR6TYH/JD1, Itokazu, has been operating for the last week from Marcus
Island, Minami Torishima. He expects to be stationed on the island
until December 20th. A triband (10, 15, 20 meter) antenna is being
used and so far all activity reported has been on 21260, where he
likes to work JAs. Apparently his mainland Japan QTH is temporary and
he prefers that QSLs be sent via the bureau. So for those of you who
are in a hurry you might consider sending your QSL direct to the JARL
bureau to possibly speed up the process. Obviously Itokazu will not
get the cards until late this year or early next year.
