Steve,
The definitive word on whether or not H8A will count for DXCC comes, of
course, from the DXCC desk; don't recall hearing anything either way. My
suspicion is that it will count, as the controversy was over the assignment
of the call, not with the license. Since they went back to a regular HP
series call after the H8A call was pulled, I would consider this further
indirect proof that the permission to operate was OK, just not the call
itself (after the ruckus was raised)
