[Dx-qsl] WK6V/WH8 info needed

I worked WK6V/WH8 on 160m in the 1993 CQ WW contest and recently tried to
get a QSL card. The current holder of the call WK6V, Don Elder, did not
hold this call in 1993 and does not know what happened to the person who
did.
The QSL route was originally announced as WK6V. His first name may have
been Bill.
Any ideas on a viable route? A Google search and the usual QSL route
databases didn't yield any useful info.
