Maybe it is just me but when the dollar is down against foreign
currencies I think it is good for our country. It makes our products
cheaper for foreign countries to buy, & less expensive for tourists to
come here. I like QSLs and go to a lot of time and trouble to get one.
I have been active for 40 years, the last 10 a serious DXer. I always
say being I do not smoke and don't have a mistress I can afford to QSL!
I have ALWAYS sent at least 2,ドル sometimes 3,ドル even 5ドル. In my QSL stuff I
still have an IRC I bought locally for 25 CENTS!!!! I do not use IRCs
unless asked. Like HIRO in Laos. I sent him 6 IRCs in 2 mailings and
never got his card. He may not have got my card. I think IRCs have their
place but they are inconvenient. I manage a Cuban station and get IRCs
and that is fine. Part of the job. I have 328 stations worked and 326
confirmed. I believe I will get the other 2 which are the TO4E and VK9C
Cocos Keeling. I am in the log for both. I sent TO4E 6ドル-7, and VK9 3ドル-4.
Worth it to me. No one is more xenophobic than me but the gyrations of
the dollar are ok by me! Good DX & 73,
