Steve has it dead on.
When was the last time you won a argument with a government employee?
I just got a email with IRC info.
The writer explained that in his country, there were no post offices anymore.
Stamps etc. were bought at local grocery stores or similar.
In the USA, could you imagine trying to explain IRC's to the person behind the counter at
your local gas station or 7-11????
Now that would be a great Candid Camera segment. lol
And exchanging USA GS's cost money, in some places there is a minimum charge that would
exceed the 1 GS value.
A Brit once sent me a check made out in UK pounds. Boy was that a hassle at the bank.
Bottom line is. If you want the qsl, do what the station/manager requests.
