It may be true that having green stamps is officially illegal in 
India. But I suspect the government is much more worried about 
thousands or even millions of U.S. dollars, than a couple in an 
envelope with a QSL. I have had excellent success with 2 G/S 
well-hidden with my card. (To India, and to everywhere else in the 
world). I assume that Indian hams find G/S very useful for their own 
QSLing.
