Hi all;
Got ap2ia's qsl in the mail today. So...y'all say 'big deal'...right? It
was a big deal. At this point, when I have seen the dx-related reflectors
full of complaints about this-n-that...this IS a big deal.
Back in Sept of 2001, I sent Ijaz a qsl request for our qso on 15m ssb, a
new band-country for me. After having waited for quite a long time, I did
as I always do, try and send an email to the dx stn and ask if he got my
request. After a few weeks, I got an email from Ijaz saying, "no"...he did
not receive my qsl request (guess it got waylaid in the mail "system"). But
(here's the kicker), in the email, he told me that not to worry as he looked
in his log after I sent the email asking if he got my orig. request, and I
was in the log and he had just sent me my requested qsl card. He mentioned
that he had included a SAE and that I should send him some postage to cover
the cost. Of course I was only too glad to do this particularly for his
trust and courtesy! Ijaz also offered to set up a sked on cw for any band I
might need... This is what I call the good part of ham radio...
Here is his full return address:

Happy dx-ing and good qsl-ing luck to all...73/dx
