Hope everyone had a great weekend and that those of you who attended Dayton
are back safely!
I have to admit that things have been slow in the "DX received" department,
but did have K4UX, WA3WUL (for 6m), and KE9I confirm OR, DE, and IN (can you
believe I didn't have IN on 160m confirmed??!!) respectively. I also
received my endorsements from the DXCC desk today and am finally at the 300
mark, so now have to work on a few easy ones that have slipped through the
cracks so that I can slowly work my way further up the ladder.
Enjoyed Dayton although I didn't get to talk to very many people I've met
over the air or the reflectors (the socializing is my favorite part of
hamfests)...probably because I'm bad about not grabbing someone by the shirt
collar and introducing myself. Allan is much better about asserting
himself. =) I enjoyed meeting K3ZO and 9V1YC at any rate, and saw several
familiar callsigns. Next year we hope to stay at a closer hotel so that we
can participate in more of the social activities.
And now on to other things. Hope all have a great week, and hope to be
reporting some DX cards soon!
