[Dx-qsl] Stamps Info PSE

Hello Francisco,
During a 3 week trip to Europe last March I purchased postage stamps from
various countries to use on SASE for DX stations or managers to return
their QSL to me.
What I learned is the counties who changed over to the Euro are now, or
will be, issuing stamps only in Euros. Stamps with amounts in Fr Francs,
It Lira, etc, have been, or are being phased out. I was advised not to
purchase any stamps that were not marked in Euros. Of course this only
concerns the EU countries that converted to Euros. The U.K, Swiss, and
many other countries did not switch over. One exception is the Vatican. I
was told by the Vatican P.O. that their stamps will be good indefinitely.
