Hi All:
I know that what I am doing here deviates from the prime purpose of this
fine reflector, but it is related to the main subject of QSL and
resources.
I believe there are literally thousand of hams across the world who have
known or been assisted by Bob McCourt in their hunt for reliable QSL
information. Bob, in my opinion, is one of the best, if not the best,
data base manager in the world and he has given of himself unselfishly
for many years in time, effort and dedication to helping others. Now, I
feel it would be only right that we may be able to show Bob our
appreciation for his contribution to the "Ham Community".
Due to health reasons, Bob has undergone some serious medical operations
with more to come. I have built a Web Site dedicated to Bob and if you
would like to send him a private message, you can do so by visiting the
site and using the automatic addressing of an e-mail that will send it
directly to him. Sorry, no "Guestbook", just a straight forward means
of saying hello to him and passing along any message you may have for
him. My purpose in doing this is to let him know he has so many friends
here on this reflector and in Ham Radio that care about him and wish him
well.
I hope posting this notice via the reflector does not upset anyone. If
it does, please accept my apologies, as that was not my intent.
