[Dx-qsl] Cards

I'm here to serve my customer...the person for whom I manage the cards.
But, it's a simple matter of cost. For PW0S I collected some 60 pounds of
cards...and mailed to Brazil.....for most I toss them....it's their
call.....many DXpeditions, for example, really are not in a position to deal
with that quantity of cards...especially for any one operator, it is not
'their call'.
Electronic QSLs could be the answer....today I get emails and respond via
the bureau from that email with a card. True electronic QSL cards are not
up to the same rigor at the moment that the standard QSL process brings to
the table, but I suspect that will change. But, today, if you email me a
request, I'd be glad to fill it via the bureau. If you want to send me a
envelope with a note with the QSOs, I'll respond....but I think most guys
find the QSL card cost to be a small part of the total cost of getting that
new one

want them, I sure have wasted a lot of money over the years. When Joe,
W3HNK, was my manager, I provided him with the funds to send my cards to me.
I consider that a requirment before I would ever have someone do my QSLing
chores for me. Its my Hobby, My cards to be exchanged, my logs he has to
deal with, and my incoming cards. I had no idea anyone DIDNT want their
cards that way. Indeed we need to go to electronic QSLs for those guys.
