[Dx-qsl] difficulties using Pathfinder from AOL?

 Hi Dave:
I guess I started something here and if so, I apologize to the readers.
This is the way I saw it and interpreted the problem from the
individual who first posed the question. The OZ7CA site could not be
accessed by using Pathfinder.
To me, that only means that in searching for QSL addresses and managers,
they want to go to the OZ7C web site, insert the call and get the
information and he was using your program (an excellent one) to do that.
Now maybe I'm wrong about that. I didn't think they wanted the
complete database, only access to the site via Pathfinder and they could
go from there.
I was suggesting that perhaps, if they could access the site directly by
using the link http://qslinfo.de/ (and not use the AOL browser) and
place that URL in your program, then that would correct their problem.
All I know is, I can access the OZ7C site by using that URL.
If I'm out to lunch on this folks, I'm sorry to have wasted your time
and the bandwidth.
As for the screen caption I sent you Dave, all I wanted you to see was
what was stated about trying to access the web site using AOL. It said
"AOL's web browsers have experienced difficulty using the Reading
Pathfinder Database. AOL is aware of this difficulty." That was the
item marked #14 under the heading "READING PATHFINDER".
The other one below that (item #15) just happened to be in the screen
capture, it is not relevant to this problem, sorry to have caused any
confusion there.
Anyway, I've about had enough. I did try to help the originator, but
guess I didn't help anyone in the long run. I'm out of this loop now.
Best regards.
