I was in Italy along with 7 other European Union countries in March of this
year. Lira's are no longer used.
Regardless of where you get your information I stand by my contention that
the information is not up to date. By using your reasoning if no one in
the U.K updated your information, the British would still be using Pounds
and Shillings rather than the New Pence system and the Southern U.S. states
would be using Confederate Money and the air-mail postage from the
Philippines would still be 8 Pisos! You started up a web site with
information that may have been correct at that time. Now you are saying if
the Hams in the countries listed do not update the information for you then
it must still be correct, and you will not take new information provided to
you by a third party who may have just arrived from that country and
purchased postage stamps from said country to use for QSL purposes.
I stand by my statement that the information is not up to date and I would
recommend people use a different source.
