Folks,
As one of those 'nice volunteers' I have to add couple of updates.
The RAC membership is opened to VE as well as non-VE call holders.
Memabership: Canadian residents with VE/VA calls cca 40ドル CDN
Non-Canadian residents with non-VE calls 80ドル cdn cca 50ドル US
As everywhere else prices are subject to change.
In addition to other RAC services here is the breakdown of
QSL relevant privildges.
RAC member is entitled for 4 kg/2400 cards free of charge (whichever
happens first). Typically 4 kg happens much earlier than 2400 cards.
This appplies to RAC membership year (e.g. 12 months). After the RAC
membership renewal we reset the counter to new 4 kg entitlement.
Above 4kg/2400 kg we charge 1ドル CDN for 200 extra cards, or 333 gr ,
based upon which limit has been passed.
We send the cards to all VE provincial bureaus, as well as 11
mainland US bureaus, and all posesions' bureaus (except KH0, KH1, KH5,
KH4, KH8, KH9). We also send QSls to all IARU listed bureaus.
Typical mailing pattern for US mainland is 4-6 wks, and 3 mths for
posesions.
We distinguish the following RAC member's QSL mailings:
- RAC member's own call (against 4 kg entitlement). Includes special PX.
- RAC member's portable call (also against 4 kg entitlement)
- RAC member's QSL clients (26$ CDN/kg of client's QSL cards).
This assumes that QSL client has non-VE/VA call, and is not the
the foreign call assigned to the RAC member.
This applies to outgoing bureau. For incoming cards you still have to
contact your own local QSL bureau (VE or elsewhere).

Welcome to RAC (The Radioamateurs of Canada).

P.S. 1 kg = 2.2 lb
1ドル US = 1ドル.6 CDN
