Steve, you are not limited to REPLYing to a card. You are free to send
a card simply from your log.
Where is it written that the DX station or manager cannot/does
not/should not originate the mail procedure???

In fact, I was able to find them. Most did not even claim the QSO, and when I e mailed them saying, jeeesh, did you NOT want the RTTY or 160 meter QSO, they came back to say they worked them, but they were not in log. They logged it, but discarded it after the computer log said NIL. One guy LOST a 160 meter qso because he wiped the QSO from the log after seeing it was not in the web log. Sadly, I cannot give that QSO to him, as he has no further information than what was in the web log......

If you think you worked it, but are not s ure....don't put your faith in weblogs. Send the QSL in....and see what comes of it.
>> AND DO NOT ERASE qsos based NIL from the Web Log. Not only will you lose the QSO, but most managers won't give you the QSO if you don't have your log details.
