[Dx-qsl] BQ9P On-line logs

First, as posted before, there are no on line logs available. The DXpedition has ended, so the primary value of an on-line log, preventing dupes, has long passed.
I see no real need of putting the log on-line after the fact. It would be nice, but here is the question:
If you find yourself not in log....what do you do? If you do NOT ask about the QSO, assuming you are not in log, you're assuming that the QSL manager won't take the time to research the problem before telling you it's not in log.
If you ASK the QSL manager, via email, before you send the QSO in....you break my process. I have to research your QSO in a sequence that does not match my routine. I would much rather you request all of the QSOs and then let me send the QSL cards or NOT IN LOG after I research with the other QSL cards.
I fear folks rely too much on online logs to give the final answer. What did we do before on-line logs. If you feel good about the QSO being 'valid'...theres an excellent chance that you are in the log. If the QSO was iffy, the manager will let you know if you made it. Submit the QSO and find out....the on-line log programs won't do the research necessary to determine this.
