This might be of interest to anyone planning a direct QSL request to a 4S7
station.
I recently sent request to 4S7NE along with SASE (with stamps from one of
the stamp services) and an IRC, in case the stamps were not enough. I have
just received reply in which Nelson says that the stamps were not enough due
to recent postage rate increase and the IRC could not be used because it had
been originally issued more than 6 years ago.
I realize there have been several postings saying that the older style IRCs
have no expiration date but apparently Nelson's post office has a different
opinion.
