I want to disagree about the SSB in theis case VP8 and in my case...
I heard VP8 on 20 CW the first nite they were on........the LIDS, POLICE etc
as you described were out in force. ON CW..after a couple of hours trying to
work them I went to 15 SSB and worked them on the 8 th call. ON 17 SSB I
worked them in 4 calls.
Lat nite I tried AGAIN on 20M CW and again after a couple hours no QSO..
geeessssss the MESS on VP8's freq was unreal..I have never seen a CW freq be
messed with that bad EVER. SO after a couple hours I went to work them on
20 RTTY.
This was an unbelievable first for me ONE call I worked them..what LUCK.
I went back to 20 CW to try again and the mess was still there...BUT after
about1 hour I got them.
Propagation to NE Florida from VP8 was really good in the evenings.
This was a all new one for me 327.
