[Dx-qsl] organized storage for expanding QSL collection @ VE1JF

I have to say that I've read this thread with much interest and envy...envy
that so many people have exchanged QSL cards. It prompted me to go through
my log book for 2000 and 2001 to determine how man DX QSL cards I've sent to
the buro and how many I've received in return. Here are the stats:
 Sent via buro 2000 and
2001...................382 cards
 Cards received in exchange.....................
6 (one mailing)
My direct rate is far higher--abouit 70 percent--but I'm not willing to
spend every waking moment and spare dollar direct QSLing 382 cards,
especially when the DX station has said, "My QSL card 100 percent via the
buro, no problem."
I freely grant that it takes a long time, sometimes, for cards to
travel back and forth between buros, but I submit that something's wrong
these days.
73s,
Gary KD0AL
