How many calls does this guy have?
My card for VE2IM (CQ WW 02 CW Zone 2 ) was returned today, "return to
sender, moved/unknown." I had sent it to VE3DZ, based on the EA5EYJ listing
right after the contest.
The catch is, I'd pulled the address for VE3DZ off my RAC Summer 02 CD-ROM,
which shows it going to a "Fredrick Walter Creed."
So, I just went into Pathfinder to see what happened. EA5EYJ still shows
VE3DZ, as does the GO List. But K4UTE & Buckmaster say VA3UM... and QRZ
says that VA3UM is now VE3UM.
Now, where it gets interesting, is that further examination of RAC, CBA,
Buckmaster, and QRZ now all say that VE2IM, VA3UM/VE3UM and VE3DZ are all
belonging to the same person, same address!
And, a search of QRZ by name also reveals that Yuri, or someone with the
same first and last name as him, also owns N2WCQ and UR5ZQQ. 'tis enough to
make one's head spin!
Anyway, the point of all this is just to alert anyone else who sent their
card via VE3DZ using the Callbook CD as to what happened. (And no, my email
to K1XN is still bouncing back to me -- his ISP doesn't seem to like my ISP,
according to my ISP, and there's nothing they can do about it, so I can't
tell him)
