Sure is interesting that H44A is blaming "foreign" amateurs for the high
cost of the Solomon Islands license (since it is allegedly used as a revenue
source by the government), and as such refuses to answer or issue QSL cards.
And that QSL card collecting is viewed as a "foreign" activity like stamp
and coin collecting. (Also that H44A can not be bothered keeping a log
since he is staying focused on getting others licensed)
Yet on the same page, we are being asked to donate radios, antennas, and
other equipment for the future 150 soon to be licensed amateurs... since HAM
stands for Helping All Mankind.
Now, I'm not saying that it should be a quid pro quo that donations imply
QSL's. But I do find his statements to be.... curious. Oh well, it takes
all kinds.

When asked "If you had been in President Clinton's place, would you have
resigned?",
Republican Member of the House of Representatives Dick Armey replied:
"If I were in the President's place, I would not have gotten a chance to
resign. I would be laying in a pool of my own blood, hearing Mrs. Armey
standing over me saying, "How do I reload this damn thing?"
