I have got a license from IRAN PTT & Iran Ministry of Interior (BAFIA)
to operate with the call EP3UN.
PTT claims I am the FIRST and ONLY foreigner ever, since 1979,
to obtain a license in The Islamic Republic of IRAN.
Most operations "from" IRAN have been pirates / illegal operations.
The most known one is EP2MKO, that operates from Russia, and have made
THOUSANDS of CW QSOs.
He even answers QSLs direct (UA6HCW), to make people believe
he is a genuine EP station.
WELL, HE IS NOT !!
Other "famous pirates" 'from' IRAN :
EP2A, EP2CW, EP2AC, EP2AA, EP5A, EP6AA
