Slim bit me the same way with the last Clipperton expedition -- here I
thought I had them on 40 CW, only to find out that a lot of us got snookered
as he made several 100 Q's. 'bout all you can do now is wait for the next
one.

And now, the 2002 Version of the Jack Bogut Memorial Joke:
Why are they serving beer at PNC Park this year?
Because for the first time in 9 years, the Pirates DIDN'T lose the Opener!

K1ER responded to my email, and gave me the complete schedule of operating
times and freqs, for the expedition. They were not even operating SSB at
the time I worked "them" Meaning I got bit by some #@$%^& Pirate. But I
wasnt the only one, hundreds of Europeans got the same response. I had
little operating time during that period, and thought I was lucky to get one
contact. Another good reason for online logs for expeditions (Of course, at
that time I wasnt online anyway so wouldnt have helped on this one, but
certainly the majority of dxers are online today and this type of thing sure
would be usefull.
