My reply to that is that if I wasn't spending so much money on 
postage and cards, I would have more money to contribute to 
DXpedition efforts that help put the credits in my log.
I'm can see your point, though, that contributions might not be 
forthcoming if it becomes more inconvenient to do so.
Perhaps along with the eQSL technology for QSL cards, we need to 
develop some new technology to ease contributions to DX operations.
Each answer brings new questions...
