[Antennas] RF overload on radial?

Curious if this burn on the 12ga radial wire I found on my Alpha
delta DX-LB was from RF, or perhaps from someone holding a lighter
under it?

There is another a couple of feet back, but its discolored the insulation,
and bubbled a little but nor burned thru completely.
Its on the radial between the (2) loading coils, and only one side of the 
antenna
has the damage.
Power specs for the antenna are:
160, 80 meters, 600 watts CW/PEP; 40 meters, 1000 watts CW/PEP, ICAS duty 
cycle.
I rarely ran the linear on it, perhaps only 3 times and the power was about 
500W
on the 80m and 40m band, so I dont think it would be damaged that much from 
so little
transmission time.
