Half wave INV L in your case has most of the radiating portion of the
element horizontal at only 38 feet high. So it will be somewhat of a cloud
warmer. Why not make it a quarter wave, and then it will exhibit low angle
radiation, plus a direct coax feed is possible or use a simple, basic shunt
coil at feedpoint for a perfect match?

Planning to put up 1/2 wave 80 meter inverted L cut for 3700 Mhz.
Aprox 126 ft… (38ft vertical / 88ft horizontal).
Thoughts on tuners, baluns, number and length of radials needed.
Would like to keep it simple — Thanks!
