[Antennas] Ducker-IL antenna long gone ?

It seems the 'Miracle Ducker" antenna is gone forever, is that right?
I have been looking for something to make my Icom IC-R20 handheld actually
able to be used PORTABLE HF.
The 'Ducker-IL' would have been ideal - maybe. ( I assume "IL" means
"in-line", that is = vertical format. )
I bought an active antenna from Ebay, sent from Greece, it's "sort of okay"
on HF but -the 9 volt battery
connector just hangs down off the active antenna, has to be rubber banded to
the radio, and no on-off
switch, which means the battery clip, which isn't made for using as an
off-on, will wear out all the sooner.
I have my own ideas, but practically no space or tools to work it - i would
use a small loop antenna of about
10 inches diameter, with a simple FET follower to change the impedance to
the R20 input.
Recommendations? What think?
