[Antennas] Vertical antenna question

I would think about building it with elevated vertical and elevated radials (4 per band) instead
of ground mounted radials....unless you can put down at least 36 ground mounted radials
with ground mounted vertical. Or unless you live at salt water.
I would forget the trap and erect two vertical elements ...one for each band using either
aluminum tubing or even wire... both fed by same coax at bottom. Separate the two vertical
element with PVC pipe pieces every few feet so the weather/wind will not change their
spacing from one another.
Support the whole thing with a non-metalic pole or hang it from a tree etc.
You may have to play a bit with element lengths but they will be somewhat close to
quarter wave formula lengths. Wire verticals are easy to play with element lengths.
