Dick,
Yes, all systems of this sort use DC injection onto the feedline center
doncuctor through an RF choke at the shack end and extract the DC at the
switch end via another RF choke.
At the same two locations the RF is passed through a series capacitor in
line with the feed line. The caps block the DC from the antenna at the
switch end and from the RX input at the shack end.

I can see some benefit in operating a remote switch using 12 Volts Wireless
Relay by using Voltage injected on a coaxial feedline. Such a system is
offered by MFJ using a module at either end of the coax.
A question comes to mind.
* Does the module to pick up 12 Volts at the Switch End of the coax,
then remove the 12 Volts and keep it from passing through the (coaxial)
the switch/relay assembly?
* If not, how does one operate into a DC grounded antenna without
shorting the 12 Volt supply?

Something to think about, but the most reliable design of remote antenna
switching systems are based on a stepped rotary switch. They can be
operated to step from one position to another easily. They can be programed
if the switch has an extra set of contacts for feedback, (switch position),
and before electronic telephone line switching was invented, they were the
heart of the step-by-step telephone systems.
They can be used on high power if the controlled switch is a small one which
in turn operates a very large switch.
Let's hear your workshop noises, guys.
