HF Antennas and related items For Sale -- Dipoles,
Verticals, Dummy Load, Coax Switch, Wattmeter, SWR
Bridges, Antenna Tuners, and Connectors
B & W Broadband HF Dipole Antenna:
B & W states that this broadband dipole will tune from 3.5
thru 30 MHz. From their web site: "Our field proven
broadband HF antennas operate all frequencies continuously
from 1.8 to 30 Mhz without an antenna tuner, plus 6 meters.
If you are participating in various programs such as MARS,
ARES, RACES or CAP these antennas will work all of your
frequencies all the time. If your frequencies get reassigned,
it does not matter."
This particular antenna is the AC 3.5-30, which is also
called the BWD-65. It does not cover 160 meters. It is
about 65 feet long, and has a special balun and loading
coil, plus the wire and spreaders.
This particular antenna works fine, and looks very close
to new. It was installed inside an attic, so has not been
exposed to the weather.
These sell for over 300ドル new. Buy this one that is close
to new, with paper work, for only 175ドル.
Broadband Dipole Antennas:
These antennas are sometimes call "Bazooka" dipoles, but
also go by other names. They are made from RG-8 coax
instead of just wire. They are fed differently, with
both halves of the coax used. The result is an antenna
that is more broad banded than a regular wire dipole,
permitting one to cover all, or most, of a ham band with
a reasonable SWR. Of course these can be put into an
inverted V configuration as well. They have been described
in the ARRL Handbook and ARRL antenna book at various times.
I have antennas for two different bands:
40 meter antenna as described above (approx 66 feet long)
with about 25 feet of RG-8 coax feedline attached, terminated
in a PL-259 connector. 50ドル
10 meter version, about 16 feet long. No feedline on this
one, but there is a place for you to attach your own coax.
15ドル
Buy both of the above for 60ドル.
MFJ 1796 Halfwave Vertical Antenna:
The MFJ 1796 covers the 40, 20, 15, 10, 6, and 2 meter bands,
with no radials needed.
It is only 12 feet high and can be mounted anywhere -- ground
level to tower top -- apartments, small lots, trailers.
Perfect for vacations, field day, DXpedition, camping.
Efficient end-loading, with no lossy traps
Full size halfwave on 2 & 6 Meters
High power air-wound balun eliminates feedline radiation
Adjusting 1 band has minimum effect on others
Automatic band switching
Low radiation angle for great DX
Omnidirectional
Handles 1500 watts PEP
Low SWR
Stainless steel hardware
This antenna was used in a restricted community, and only
put outside when being used, so it is in terrific shape.
Paper work included.
These sell for over 300ドル new. Buy this one for only 175ドル.
Pick up near Ocala FL, just off of I-75.
Doublet Antenna and "Window Line":
Doublet antenna consisting of about 110 feet of wire, with
center insulator, 2 end insulators, and 2 center supporting
insulators. This antenna is made to be fed with "open wire"
450 ohm transmission line, and used with an antenna tuner.
It should be able to tune from 80 thru 10 meters, with the
proper tuner. 20ドル
"Windows Line" 450 ohm transmission line
This is similar to "open wire" transmission line, but has
some plastic insulation on it instead of being open, so it
is protected more. The openings look like windows, hence
the name. I have three lengths available. Two are about
50 feet long, and are 15ドル each. The third is over 80 feet
long, and is 25ドル.
Hustler 4BTV HF Vertical Antenna:
The 4BTV is a vertical antenna that covers 10, 15, 20, and 40
meters. It can also cover 75/80 meters by using an RM-75
resonator.
This one is in extremely good shape. It actually still shines!
No corrosion evident. The actual base shows very minor signs
of being out in the weather, but the silent key who used it
was in a restricted community, and took the top part out of
the garage only when he wanted to get on the air.
Paper work is included for 120ドル.
Hustler RM-75 resonator - standard version
(can be used to add 75 meters to 4BTV above) 19ドル
I would prefer pickup near Ocala, Florida, just off of I-75.
It will easily fit inside a car. It is possible to ship it,
but the cost is high due to it being oversize. Obviously,
shipping is not included in the price.
Hustler Resonators for Hustler Mobile HF Antenna Systems:
"Standard" Hustler resonators (400 Watt):
75 meter resonator RM-75 19ドル
40 meter resonator RM-40
This resonator has tape on the bottom. I assume the
tape was used to tell the silent key which frequency
the RM-40 was tuned to, being he had two of them. 15ドル
Dentron "Big Dummy" RF Dummy Load:
This is Dentron's equivalent to the the traditional Heath
"Cantenna" dummy load that will handle a kilowatt. It has
a derating curve with it.
It is in good shape both electrically and cosmetically.
It has no rust, dents nor dings.
I measured the resistor and it is 53 ohms, so obviously it
is in good shape. I have never seen any others this close
to 52 ohms!
I can ship it either with or without oil. The cost to
purchase is the same, but of course the shipping will be
higher with the oil.
With derating curve paper work for 45ドル.
Heath HD-1234 Coaxial Antenna Switch:
This coax switch has SO-239 connectors arranged so the
coax comes out like the spokes of a wheel. It will switch
up to 4 antennas, and also ground all of the antennas.
It will handle full legal power.
This particular switch works 100% and looks fine also.
With paper work for 35ドル.
Heath HM-2140 HF "Peak reading" Wattmeter:
This is the wattmeter that has two meters on it, so it
reads both forward and reflected power at the same time.
It also has a "Peak" position, so it can capture the peak
power, in essence reading PEP output. Forward scales
are 200 or 2000 Watts, and reverse are 50 W or 500 W,
plus SWR scale. It covers 1.8 to 30 MHz, and also has
a battery test position (9 volt battery needed for "peak"
operation). It has a remote sensor with about 3 feet
of cable.
This particular meter works 100%, and looks the same.
I can not find a scratch on it.
With paper work for 95ドル.
Heath HM-15 SWR Bridge:
This is an HF SWR Bridge, with SO-239 connectors on
the back. The front has the meter on the left, and two
knobs to the right. It is the same size as the HD-15
phone patch.
This one works fine and is in nice cosmetic shape.
I can not find a scratch on it.
Paper work included for 20ドル.
HF and VHF SWR Bridges:
All of these cover from 3 to 150 MHz, covering HF,
6 meters,and 2 meters. SO-239 connectors.
Quement SWB-2
This unit features two separate meters --
one for reading forward power and another for reading SWR.
This permits one to easily monitor both the power going
out, and the SWR on the antenna at the same time. It works
fine and looks great. With paper work for 37ドル.
Carter Craft 90-300
Single Meter SWR Bridge / Field Strength Meter
This one works fine. I am 99% certain it has not been used,
except for my testing it. In its original box with original
instructions and little field strength antenna. 30ドル
Royce 2-100 Single Meter SWR Bridge / Field Strength Meter
This one works fine, and looks extremely nice. I do not see
any scratches on it, but it does have a previous owners name
on it. In its original box with original instructions. 28ドル
MFJ 989, 3000 Watt rated, HF Antenna Tuner:
The 3 KW MFJ-989 features two massive transmitting capacitors
and a roller inductor with a three digit counter. You won't
have arcing problems with this roller inductor, because firm
springs put considerable pressure on a plated contact wheel.
You can tune your SWR down to the absolute minimum from 1.8
to 30 MHz, including MARS and the WARC bands. It has a super
heavy duty balun for balanced lines.
You can select two coax antennas direct or through the
tuner, balanced line or random wire, plus a built-in 50
ohm 300 watt dummy load. A wattmeter is also included.
This one works fine, and looks good, although there is
some slight wear. The meter light has burned out. Paper
work included for 175ドル.
TenTec 229 HF antenna tuner:
This roller inductor tuner will handle full legal power.
It uses an "L" match instead of a "T" match, which means
there is only one spot that will give the correct match.
The "L" match is also more efficient. Electrically, it is
the same as the 238 series, 229 A, 229 B, and 4229.
There is also a built in wattmeter with full scale reading
of 200 and 2000 watts. It also has an SWR bridge with
lighted meter, plus a 4 position antenna switch.
-
It can be used on any HF frequency, including the WARC
bands, as it is continuously adjustable. It has a built
in internal balun, so open wire can be used.
Cosmetically, this unit is the color of the earlier Omni
series (Omni 546, series A, B, and C) with the black vinyl
covering, and nice aluminum trim around the front.
This particular unit functions 100%, and looks perfect.
I can not find a scratch on it.
Paper work is included for 325ドル.
Coax connectors and adapters:
Prices are per connector. Several of each are available.
It looks like these have not been used.
UHF Male (PL-259) to BNC female (opposite of above) 5ドル
UHF double female "Barrel connector" (two SO-239 together) 3ドル
UHF "Bulkhead Connector" - Double female, as above, but for

a PL-259 to be attached. (BNC male to UHF female) 5ドル
I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF
and VHF/UHF antennas, etc.
Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
