"Single Point" don't mean stuff everything on to one screw.
Your big piece of copper is a single point if you use it that
way. Single point means that all equipment, including that
which plugs into the AC outlets on the wall, has ONE path
to ground, and that path is the copper plate. Often the large
facilities will have a ground system that looks like a Christmas
Tree. The idea is to avoid "Ground Loops". Your problem is
that your equipment that plugs into the AC wall plugs are already
getting DC connectivity to ground. So you'll have ground loops.
All you have to do is connect everything directly to the piece of
copper, and to nothing else. Good Luck.
A serious consideration is what the copper plate is tied to outside
the house. There's Rules on tying power grounds, neutral grounds,
signal grounds, etc, together. My thoughts is your problem is
outside the house, not inside. I hope you get some more opinions
on this.
