How high is the balcony? Throw a quarter or halfwave off it and use a quarter 
wave length counterpoise strung around the room. Sorta like a dipole with one 
leg outside and the other inside. Perhaps use a fishng pole to move the outside 
length out from the building. Really thin magnet wire is nearly invisible. 
Deploy it at night and no one will know.
Good luck, any antenna is better than no antenna - usually :o)
