[Antennas] Vertical Radials

Definitely no problem! Any insulation on these wires will protect them
better from corrosion. Even better, strip the outer sheath , cut in each
bundle different wires to quarter wave length size and connect the ends near
the antenna together. This way you'll have resonant radials for the bands of
interest. Nothing better, except perhaps a continuous ground plane!

Subject: [Antennas] Vertical Radials
I am putting up a Butternut HF6V vertical antenna. I happen to have a
large quantity of 8 conductor 22 ga. cable. I plan to strip the jacket
and use the 22 ga. insulated wires for the ground radials. Is there any
problem with using insulated wire for radials? I could even tie the 8
conductors together and use cable pieces for radials.
