What sort of ground do I have (can I hope for)?
Small plot (about 350 sq.yards) 2.5 miles from sea. House, centrally 
placed on site, built on a concrete raft (approx 5 feet deep) on sand. 
Government building a desalination plant down the road as we were 
shipping in water from Greece last year.
House is surrounded by 'stamped' concrete with an approx 4" square steel 
'net' in the concrete - with a meter I can read a (virtual) short from 
all 4 corners.
