Hello All,
I am a new (Almost) HAM, should pass the Tech test in about 1 week.
I am liquidating Business class/HAM Estate for the Widow.
I have 2 Cushcraft CRS-4 Ringo the spec sheet says is for 44.0 to 50.0 Mhz.
Can this be used for the HAM 6 meter band (50-54 Mhz)?
If so, what is approx length of the element and tuning RG-11 coax.
Also, are any changes needed for the "Ringo"
I also have an Antenna Specialists 1/2 Wave end fed vertical.
The P/N on the box is partly unreadable but the last part is: SP 350
Circled is the 30-40Mhz designation. However, going through the enclosed
parts, is appears to have the length of the 25-28Mhz model.
Also, the "Ground Plane Radial Extensions are missing.
I would like to use this for 10Meter HAM band (28-29.7Mhz) but would need to
know the length of the vertical element and the total length of the ground
plane radials.
Thanks in advance,
Just an (Almost) new HAM trying to set up my Shack!
Bruce B.
