I have owned a Gap Titan vertical for some years now and
have had much experience with it, especially in RTTY
contesting. I run about 1000 watts during contests.
I have found that the antenna is fair on 80M though limited
to about 100 Hz as advertised. It is better on 40M and very
good on all bands above 40M. It is usually not as good as
the beam, but occasionally out-performs it.
I would liked to have had the High Tower, but did not want
to install radials in the ground. An the HT will not work on
the WARC bands. Since I have a 4-el beam for 10, 15 and 20M,
I especially wanted something to work on the WARC bands.
