[Antennas] horizontal loop

The loops are basically 1/2wave dipoles bent into a circle or square....then gamma matched (with the center of the dipole being grounded). There are lots of plans for halos, loops, etc but the basic design is the same. Stacking can achieve 3db gain omni when the number of elements are doubled. QST had a design on 430MHz loops just recently...the design for 2mtrs can be made by scaling up everything by 3x.
