I will have to revise my earlier post. I have done some more investigating
and what I am picking up is not local AM broadcasts, it's the sound portion
from cable TV channels. What are anyone's thoughts on this, my problem,
Knology's problem, or?

Subject: Local AM Broadcast Reception
I am picking up local AM broadcast signals all over the 20M band on both of
my receivers. One is a 75S-3 and the other is a R-390. I have only one
antenna, a Butternut HFV-6, and switch the coax back and forth between the
two with a B&W coax switch. Since the problem is with both receivers, I am
thinking it's not an image problem. I am going to take the feed line and
antenna connections apart and clean them today with the idea it might be
diode rectification in the system someplace. I live in Florida and we have
had a lot of rain over the last 6 weeks or so. Finally the weather
forecasters are saying that the rainy season here appears to be coming to an
end and drier air from the north may be starting get this far south.
Any ideas on where to look for causes of my problem?
