[Antennas] Phased Array: DC Grounded Verticals

While doing some checking of a phasing box I've been working I realized
something that hadn't previously occurred to me.
While I am attempting to feed verticals in parallel, I hadn't thought about
the nature of DC grounded verticals. Although parallel, they are also
connected in (DC) series at the phasing box via their continuity through the
coaxial shield and common ground for the connectors. This wouldn't be the
situation with traditional, open circuit verticals as I understand the
situation.
Does utilizing DC Grounded Verticals vs. Traditional Verticals or
Groundplanes change or complicate any of the fundamental factors concerning
phasing?
