Thanks to all...........! Best idea was to use Egg insulators at the
trap points and hang the traps underneath. I've tried that before but
always attempted to complicate it with u-bolts and other clamping
devices. This time I'll treat the stranded copper clad like TV guy wire
and wrap it around itself then clamp or solder it. This is just for
safety anyway. The tower is a shorty (TMM433SS) thats bolted to 1 cubic
yard of rebarred concrete (had a 54 ft guyed tower before) I've added a
guy set to the top of the 2nd section. The reinforced dipole at the top
of the 4th would give a little more piece of mind, we get 70 mph winds
through here occasionally. Oh, there is a Mosley TA-33 on top of the
tower. Again thanks to all. Ron.
