Jay,
Fair Radio Sales offers some unused surplus military radio mast kits that
are perfect for rapid field erection. The mast kit I bought is 40 feet
high when erected, and comprises ten 48" sections. The kit came with eight
guying ropes, a baseplate, four stakes, and even a hammer to pound the
stakes into the ground. I've used this on Field Day with great success. I
believe that the company also sells individual components for such mast

over-extension, rotation or collapse
Material: Aluminum or rigid fiberglass
Guying: NONE! self-supporting
Base mounting: Vehicle tire is parked on the base to secure
it; mast is
put in the base and locked.
Antennas/cables supported: Up to two four-element VHF yagi antennas
and
center apex of vee wire antenna.
Up to three RG8 or RG213 feedlines.
Time to deploy: 30 minutes
Persons required to set up: 1
