[Antennas] Wideband Receive preamp for Screwdriver.

Looking for opinions... ("Everybody's got one")
Anybody got thoughts about the possible advantages of receiver preamps
added to a 706 with a ScrewDriver antenna for mobile?
--Before you respond, you need to know that I intend to use a 500-600 watt
mobile amp, 160 thru 6M, so I would also like to have improved wideband
receive capability.
Here's a product that does wideband 22dBm gain from .1 - 30 MHz

I would like to have it automatically rf switched, tx-rx, but could manage
that function another way. The web page does not say so, and they are
closed friday afternoons or I'd call them.
--What can I do?
--Is it worthwhile?
--Any help?
