When and IF the install/situation allows for it's use!
However it isn't always possible to use the optimal approach, from the books, 
that you would like to. Think, landlord's, rules and regs, if you would like to 
keep the roof over your head, you know minor details like that.
So, for the rest of us, we have coax and tuners. :-)
